Interpret the interval honestly
The interval says only where ideal horizontal geometry may fit the entered range. It does not add projector depth or wall clearance and does not verify focus. A practical plan chooses a point with adjustment margin, then checks every applicable limit in the exact manual.
Recalculate when one input changes
A different aspect ratio changes width; a different lens changes the ratio range; a different screen size scales both endpoints. Do not preserve the old placement after changing one of those inputs. Rerun the complete tuple and keep the source specification beside the result.
